Daviess Advances Recovery Access Consortium
The Daviess Advances Recovery Access Consortium is a dedicated coalition in Daviess County focused on improving access to substance use and mental health services. Recognizing the critical need for comprehensive support in these areas, the consortium brings together a wide range of community partners, including healthcare providers, social service organizations, local government agencies, and community leaders.
DARAC's primary mission is to develop and implement strategic partnerships and targeted interventions that address the root causes and effects of substance use and mental health challenges within the community. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders, the consortium aims to create a coordinated and effective response that enhances the availability and quality of care, reduces stigma, and supports long-term recovery.
The DARAC works to align resources, share knowledge, and promote evidence-based practices, all while remaining responsive to the unique needs of Daviess County residents. Through these efforts, the coalition seeks to build a healthier, more resilient community by ensuring that individuals and families have access to the care and support they need to overcome substance use and mental health issues.
